My 1966 289 has major wheelhop when you get on it to hard. It has the 8.8 rear end in it. don't know if it is limited slip or not. I know that traction bars are the best way to correct this problem but I don't know which ones to get

They sell the original style GT 350 weld in ones but there are also the cheap rubber bumper ones out there

Has anyone used the cheap ones to good success or are the weld in ones a better way to go?

You sure its a 8.8 out a 8 inch?Factory it had a 8 inch only way its a 8.8 is if its been changed.The best i have used are caltracs and they bolt on.
