Im a college kid with a 66 inline 6.
I just replaced my transmission and basically i realized most of the cabling and the whole assembly of the parking/emergency brake is messed up. I tried looking online, but does anyone know where i can get a whole new kit, or if there is a way to upgrade the parking brake system on those model mustangs. i keep finding all the little parts sold seperate. i want to buy a complete assembly. thanks please help out =)

I don't think you're going to find a "kit". However the assemblies aren't that complex. You have two cables going to the wheel backing plates. An equalizer bar. The hand operated pull cable assembly and a couple springs is basically it.

it is really not that hard, its just not something that is thrown together in a kit, but very easily found parts and are not that expensive.

Its a fairly simple set up, just do your reaserch and have fun with it.
