1966 Mustang Seat Swap to Fiero Seats

Well I have recently acquired some Fiero seats and I have seen the seats installed on other forums in Mustangs. I am curious to know if anyone has done them here. If they have, how did you mod the seat tracks. Did you use the original fiero's seat tracks or the mustang's tracks. Upholstery wise I will eventually be getting a Mr. Mike's kit. By the way the car is a 1966 Mustang. Sadly I don't have the car on hand as it is in the shop since a lady hit me a few weeks back. Further by the way, my welding skills are well non existent. :( (hopefully one day that will change) With that said hopefully I can use bolts and washers but I am open to any advice, pictures, and help.

Thank you all in advance.

For welding stuff like seat tracks (if it needs to be, I've never looked into it) and stuff that doesn't really need to be pretty, why don't you get yourself a HF welder, and start practicing.

Where in LA are you located anyway?
I honestly wouldn't mind learning. It seems like a cool skill set to learn. I live on the border of Downey, pico rivera, santa fe springs, and montebello. You?
And in regards to the seat brackets, I've seen people weld z bars to tracks since its the rear holes that don't line up. I've also seen a guy use steel flat stock and nuts and bolts which I am more inclined to use since it looks simple.
I'm just trying to see if there is any more advice or tips I can get.
