i am completly rebuilding a 1967 3 speed manual. the problem is the guy i bought it from probably has ruined more then he helped. does anyone know how to put on, not take off, a nuetral bypass switch. and any other help on rebuilding the original autolite 1100 carbourateor would be great too. nice to join yall

Hello. :welcome With the car in 'Park' and the shifter lankage arm popped loose from the transmission, the neutral safety switch just slides right on to where the shifter arm attaches to the transmission and is held on with two small bolts. Hope that helps.
