I am a rookie at working on this car and need help. I think that I need to put additional fluid in the reserve on my 67 convertible. I cant seem to figure out how to do that? First, where is it? I have removed the back seat and found the pump but where is the reservoir? What fluid do I use?

The reservoir is a can on the pump. There is a plug on it, Type F fluid should be full to the hole.

+1 to what David said above and after you add fluid work the top up and down several time to work any air out of the system then recheck fluid level.

Found it. I really appreciate the help. Now it looks like the only thing that I have to work on is getting the fluid into the reserve. I can handle that. I am so glad that I found this forum. Thanks again.
