I spent the last two days working on the new center console. Not quite done but made good progress. I have updated my website with progress so far.

Hey are they 67' seats. Im looking for something similar for my 65 coupe restomod. The orignal seats are too flimsy.

Seats are from a 99. From what I've gathered, if you remove the 99 seat rails and put the 67 seat rails on, they fit the original seat platforms, don't recall if any mods are needed. I wanted to use the DS power rails which drove the floor mods. Otherwise the seats are too high.

nice job Joel, your upholstery work looks fine. How thick of padding did you use on the sides?
Have you figured out where to get or how to make normal sheet alum. look brushed like your dash?

Hi Jon,

The padding is 1/8" mat.

For the aluminum, I'm not sure and that's why I started the console in vinyl. I will do some experiments with different grades of sandpaper and stokes. I have a sheet of aluminum that looks pretty good, but I'm sure that won't be the case once I'm done working on it


I've also added a couple more shots of the console with the armrest on.
