Welcome to the site!! I moved your thread for a better response.
Take your car to a shop who "knows" these older cars quite well and let them do an inspection of the front suspension. There are a number of things that can be defective or deteriorated in the front suspension or steering causing this.Hello everyone, I have a problem with my 1968 mustang coupe every time I hit a bump or I hit a dip my mustang alway seems to go to the side
Assuming nothing has been changed to the front steering/suspension, I would venture to say it may be in need of a front end inspection and front end alignment. These older cars do not handle the same as newer cars. If the suspension is original to the car, than this can be expected.
it also, happens when I'm braking too. Can it be bumper steer? Please Help me -Thanks
If it pulls to the side during braking / stopping, its most likely a brake problem. However, with that being said, if the suspension is original to the car, it could very well be related to the suspension. The rubber bushings on the strut rods can easily cause this condition and effect.
