A friend of mine recently installed the Mustang II front end on his 66. The conversion is not too difficult but I'd advise having some help if you decide to go that route. The 66 Mustangs did not have a great front suspension, especially for corning, etc. The Mustang II already has the disc brakes, rack and pinion steering (far superior over the 66 steering). You can also adjust the ride height. If your not concerned about originality, the Mustang II is a good option. Lots of street rods running this front end without any problems.
