Hi everyone! I have a 68 Fastback and I am detailing the interior. I'm wondering about the interior sail panels, I want to repaint them but does anybody know how to do it without painting over the chrome vents but painting down between them?

Paint over the chrome and then take a rag moistened with paint thinner and carefully wipe the paint off of the chrome. You don't want too much thinner on the rag, just moistened enough to remove the paint.

Reproduction plastic panels are now available if the metal is pitted too much.
