I am replacing front and rear torque boxes, inner rocker panels, a section of the rear frame rail and floor pans in my 68 mustang convertible. I am pretty sure Im just going to drill out the floor pans and mig weld them but what about the torque boxes, frame rails and inner rockers? what would the best type of weld for those parts be?

Use a lap weld with doubler plates on the torque boxes and anywhere the metal attaches to the unibody "frame".
