I'm looking at buying the Coys C-5 wheels in 17x8

Whats the widest tire that I can easily fit on these wheels under the rear? The rear has been lowered 1inch. I've heard many answers ranging from 245 to 275. Anyone with experience care to share?

Have you seen http://www.dodgestang.com/Tire Fitment Guide 67-8.pdf if not any good wheel shop could test fit any size tire you want to try see how it fits.

on the rear of my 68 coupe ive got 17x9 with some 255s on it, has great clearance, but this is at stock height with fresh leaf springs
