I'm in the process of finishing up a restoration on my 1969 Mustang Mach I done by a previous owner. I have been able to reinstall the shoulder belt on the drivers side, but when I went to install the belt on the passenger side, there was a hole cut in the frame where the anchor bolt is suppose to screw in! I suspect that the belt that was originally there rusted into the fitting and was cut out by whomever was restoring the car. Anyone have suggestions? Without ruining the headliner? Can I use a fender clip somehow? Can I pop rivet a new piece to the frame?
