Hi everyone, I am new here, and am hoping to get some help from people who know a little bit more about this stuff than I do...
I need to remove the driver's side front fender extension from my 1970 boss 302 mustang, and am perplexed by how to do it, any help is greatly appreciated.
Also, will removing the fender extension give me access to the headlight plate?

1970 front fender extension removal

First remove your bumper. You may need to take off the apron as well. After thats out of the way remove the wheel, next the splash guard. there is only four nuts holding the extension on.You will have to access these from the inside of the wheel well.I think these nuts are 7/16.use a1/4 drive with a long extension, there's three on the outside and one in the top right corner. You may also access two of them through the signal light. You probably will need to go by feel and not by sight but it's not that bad of a job.should take about an hour.Hope this helps.Good luck
