I have a 1972 mach 1 mustang with a 351C has a automatic tranny, I want to switch from automatic to manual transmission.
How much would that cost? (Aftermarket parts)

One more question!
How much would it cost to switch all 4 drum brakes to all 4 disc? (using after market parts as well!)

I went to a t5 for my 66 and it cost about 2 grand overall if my estimate is correct. I would count my receipts but i might as well be reading a novel. It all depends on what parts you buy. It could be 2 grand, it could be 4 grand in a heartbeat if you start buying tkos and stuff like that. Are you looking for a toploader 4 speed or modern 5 speed?

You have to have deep pockets to start buying things just to make your Mustang look good. Discs up front is a very wise idea since the fronts take most of the workload.

You really don't need them in back and personally I don't think vintage Mustangs look that great with them. Also the visibility of them will be greatly affected by what design of wheels you are running.
