Id just like to first thank you for taking the time to helping me out.
I have a 1972 Mach 1 Mustang Fastback has a 351c with 2v heads and a 4 barrel edelbrock carb currently. And Automatic Transmission
I might be able to get my hands on a 2003 mustang Cobra supercharged engine for free has 500+ horsepower. Manual Transmission
Heres the deal im planning on doing the swap and putting the cobra engine in my 72 mach 1.
My Questions
If i swap the engine and put the 2003 Cobra Mustang Supercharged engine in the 72 Mach 1 would it fit or would i need to cut into the shock towers?
how difficult would it be to put in a clutch in my 72 because right now the car is automatic.
Would i need to upgrade my front suspension and if so about how much would just parts cost?
If i swap the engine would i still be able to get it to run properly with out abs and all the computers and wirring what are other ways of getting around this?
If you could give me some feedback and let me know other issues or conflicts this may arise please let me know what you think I am very interested. Please no idiots!
