Would someone please post a step by step procedure for replacing the timing chain on my 1972 Mustang? The motor is a 302 automatic factory 2bbl changed to a 4bbl. Thank you.

Shop manual time?

:waveyHi! dne' here.
I think there may be a few too many steps to take in explaining "how to" replace your timing chain. But it may behoove you to purchase a shop manual for your specific year, etc. and the manual will give you step by step and occasional illustrations to boot. Then, when you have gotten into the chore of replacing your timing chain, and you get a little stumped, then I'm sure there would be advice here for sure!:bigthumbsup I bought my shop manual from one of my local Mustang shops.:gringreen
