I am wanting to know if anyone here can tell me what the red running pony light under the speedometer is for on the instrument cluster for a 1973 Mach 1. I have seemingly looked everywhere but cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance, Justin

He's right it's your highbeams.
To turn them off their is this circle peddle type thing next to your brake. Simply press down on it and you will hear a clicking sound and the light will turn off which turns off your highbeams.
