i have a 1978 mustang ii and i am wanting to put a 9'' rearend in it i know it has to be made speical but does anyone know the length it should be. i am not tubing it out or anything and wat is the biggest tire i can put under it on the back.

I have a 275/50/15 on the rear of my 78. I believe the axel dimentions are the same as a 65-66. My tires are mounted on a 15X8 wheel with a backspace of 4 1/2 inches.
