Hello,im nick new to the forum. I have a 1983 ford mustang L hatchback,i bought the car without an engine.The car is set up for a 302 windsor with a c4 automatic,the c4 is still in it but the torque converter is missing,i have a torque converter for a 2.3 lima 4cylinder c4 ,will this converter bolt to a 302 windsor flexplate?. will it work with my windsor c4? id like to use it because its free,and ive seen chevy guys run vega converters in th350s for high stall speed and id like the same results. any help would be appreciated thanks.

make sure which transmission you have, I believe Ford used c3, c4 & AOD
