How tough is it to replace a heater core in a 1983 Mustang GLX convertible? Any place to look for a video of the take out?

Pretty sure there is a write up somewhere in google search, but I can tell you I had to replace the heater core in my '86 SVO(same dash layout 79-86) when I had it some years ago and it really sucked. I removed both front seats(for room), dropped the steering column, removed console, and then went to work on all the screws/nuts/bolts that hold the dash assembly in place. It took me a good portion of a day to do. People recommend going with Motorcraft heater core, but I went with a Napa unit and it worked fine for me for the 3 years I owned the car before selling it. Due to the labor involved I would NOT cheap out on a heater core here.

I think the job is alot easier if your car didn't come with A/C, apparently earlier cars didn't require dash removal if this was the case, but don't quote me on that.
