I have an 84 EFI mustang that has been converted to carberated. It now has a 5.0 from a 1991 mustang installed. Still working out some bugs. It has an electric in line fuel pump that delivers 6-7 psi fuel to the carb. The pump in the tank has been removed. I want to go to a mechanical pump because the existing electric one seems to vapor lock at idle. At least I think thats what is happening. Can anyone tell me if I can bolt a mechanical pump right up up to the 1991 5.0 block without much difficulty?
