First off, thanks for allowing me to post in your forum.
I just picked up a 1984 Mustang LX GT 5.0 convertible. It looks great and runs ok. However, it didn't pass smog and has a few leaks. I got it cheap and was curious if repairs on this car can get costly or are they average?

These cars are relatively easy to work on. Like mentioned above, find out where it failed, get the parts and you can fix it....and we can help. :bigthumbsup

On another note, you bought the car in California? It's a state law that the seller has to provide you with a valid/passed smog certificate before selling the vehicle. Not supposed to sell the vehicle without one. Look it up in DMV.gov.
