I have a 1984 Mustang GT, automatic, fuel injected. The problem is when I go to change the air filter the filter strongly smells of gas. Any suggestions or insight will help. Thanks.:winks

Non firing cylinder would be my guess. Or leaky fuel line. how are you feeding this EFI engine?

I don't understand your question, it's just an all stock 1984 5.0 liter engine. I don't know much about EFI, or how i'm feeding it.
