Went to bleed brakes cuz smog guy told me i have no rear brakes. when i bled them just a tiny bit of brake fluid came out. DOn't know what to do hoping not master cylinder any help is appreciated. front brakes work fine
Sounds like a pinch or clog. Id take one side of the rear off and the line at the dist block and master and blow air pressure through them then the other side. See if that helps. And clean the dist block out.
if your fronts work fine your master cyl wouldnt be the problem id check your proportioning valve/distribution block what ever you wanna call it then check your lines to the rear. if you have a mighty vac or a vacula you can try sucking the brake fluid out from the rear bleeder screws works alot better than manual bleeding in my opinion.just make sure you have alot of brake fluid handy and you keep the master cyl topped off while your bleeding them
Before you bleed them, open up the bleeder valves and just let it sit for a few minutes and see if gravity will prime the lines. Maybe after blowing air through them you just have a lot of air in there still.
