isnt the 86 carb'd?
if so.. drop it in, bypass in tank fuel pump and get a electric one under the hood, HEI distributor so you dont need ignition module, on the HEI all you need is power from when you turn key and has tach line, run new gauges, ground it off..
use the 86 starter, get the starter solenoid at autozone for that year. run battery to starter solenoid, run starter to other side, put a wire from the key, run key power to HEI, run alternator 1 wire to solenoid, and whatever power you need...
kinda hard to say, neeed to do alot.. i guess just drop it in, and work on it till it runs
then once itll turn over everything else is easy
