Ok I Just Bought A 86 Mustang 5.0 The Owner Has An Aftermarket Cam For The Car But Says That It Needs To Be Changed To A Carborator Instead Of Fuel Injection, Is This True...i Need Help Before I Put The Motor Back Together
i have neve heard of a cam desiding whether to use a carb or fi. I would say that you dont need to switch, but if you do keep the fi go with a Mass air(89-93 mustangs) as opposed to the speed density (86-88), it is a better system and better for upgrades. The carb would be an easier swap, that might have been what the guy was talking about.
