i have an 86 mustang and when im driving in it while on the gas its fine but when i give it it speeds up like its suposed to but then it starts to lag like its not getting enough fuel but my fuel pressure gauge shows that the presser is running good it doesnt drop when the car lags

Need more info. When was it's last tune up? Is it stock? Any odd noises?

ok well i just put high performance wires new plugs cold air intake its running bbk headers with H pipped super 40 mufflers no cats it always has run rich and the guy before me put a cam in it the peddle feels really week when acceleration
