Hello does anyone know if the fuel pump in the gas tank has a fuse on the panel under the wheel let me know im stumped my car cranks over forever and does not fire i have good compression and think my fuel pump is either burned out itself or its a fuse so let me know what you think thxxx .....86 cobra gt 5.0 ..:headscratch:

This may or may not help. There was a relay under the driver's seat on my 89 coupe. When unplugged it would crank but never fire. Worth a try.

I know on 87 and up, there is not a fuse in the panel. Look connected to the solenoid and see if you see a burned into wire. This is a fusible link that is used in place of a fuse. They will burn if something goes wrong or over time if the coating on the wire gets a knick, they will corrode into (I have had that happen) If you find a burned one, you can get them from the local auto parts store, just don't solder it in, use connectors.
