1987 mustang fuel pump relay clicking alot

i do not know if the relay is bad. i opened it up and it was opening and closing fast. my car wont start. fuel pump not making that whining noise. had a electric problem before( the neg battery cable was getting hot the alternator as well was hot the 02 sensor were hot the relay be the maf sensor was really hot).

ok now the car cranks but the fuel pump isnt working(not making whining sound) have no idea what was wrong. i think the battery cable was lose

so the car just ran out of gas and the click sound was just a loose battery cable all this from a lil nothing ****
