Hey all, I'm completely new to the mustang world as of monday afternoon and have some concerns. I have an 87 notchback that was a 4cyl conversion to a 5.0. My main concern is identifying the motor that was swapped in. It had an "HO" badge plate on the top of the intake manifold but doesn't have the HO stamped onto the manifold under that plate. But at the same time it does have the orange 19lb injectors. so this is why i am confused. Also it seems to burn through fuel at an alarming rate so my thought is, is it possible that this isn't an "HO" version of the 5.0 but it does have the 19lb injectors causing my excessive loss of fuel? Any responses would be helpful. I just want to know what i have under my hood before i go spending money on parts that aren't going to help me. (Also, i don't know if its relevant, but it has speed density, not MAF. I don't know if the HO's came with one or the other)

Post some pictures. Sure it's not an aftermarket intake?
