Hey guys, so when i put it on reverse the smoke comes out really thick and it jerks really bad. Also when i try to put it back into first it turns off sometimes. what should my timing be at? do i have to use better gas instead of 89? it also seems like i dont have all the power i should have.

LOL...that avatar is too much! When's the last time you had a full tune up and fuel filter change?

Your timing should be around 12-14 degrees advanced.

Better gas depends on the timing you have. I'm stuck with [email protected] Californis gas so I can only run about 18deg advance with 91 octane. Stock timing is 10 but like Eagle said, 12-14 should be good. Make sure to time it proprely and then check for knock/detonation above 2500 rpm.
