1988 Mustang coolant overflow tank

i don't think there's a sensor. a buddy of mine used the tank for wiper fluid as his overflow tank.

I bought my overflow from Mustangs Unlimited for my 87.
I have an electric fan with no shroud also. I'm having the same mounting problems too. On my 93 , there's a bracket, 1/4"x1" steel, that's spaced from the radiator about an inch. It's mounted to the top and the botttom of the radiator. I may have to try and bend up my own out of alum. flat stock, but I'd rather buy something already made up.
