^^^ yup. drill out the spot welds on the pan, but not the parts the pan is welded to. then use the old one as a template to puch out new holes in the new pan so you can weld the new one in. Prep the areas that are going to be welded by grinding them down to bare metal. Coat all the exposed bare metal surfaces with weld through primer, use vise grips where you can to hold the new pan in. In places you cant get vice grips, shoot in some small sheet metal screws. Make sure the new pan is completely flat to the surface you are welding it to. Then let her rip!!!!!!!!! good luck with it!!
