I have a 1988 mustang gt with an auto transmission and I need help on how to adjust the tv cable the right way. I heard you give it full throttle then hook it in and I also heard you give it no throttle. If anyone could help it would be great thanks. O I do have a performer intake on it with a 65.m throttle body and a kn filter if that make a difference. And would that make my car bogg down when I give it 3 quarter throttle.

Slide it back about 1 inch on the slide and clip it in. Test drive and see if it shifts right. On my car I slid it back 1/2 inch and it would short shift 2nd. gear. So I slid it back almost all the way back, and it worked great , and I have 100 1/8 mi. passes on it. It is trial and error. This may not be the correct way but it worked for me. 90lx bracket car
