Have you checked the ground wire from the battery?
it got dark, so i didnt check it very well, after i replaced the started sileniod, when i put the + cable bak on there was no spark, kinda taught that was funny. i have power in the car, maybe its just not enough?
Could be the problem.

Check both cables carefully, they may look good on the outside. They could be corroded where they crimp into the connectors and just under the insulation.

starter

My 86' GT did the same thing..... i replaced the starter, no help.... the i replaced the soleniod under the hood, never had a problem since and the are like 15 bucks, actually now that i think about it i replaced my soleniod and it did not fix it, it was in my steering column , theres like a little aluminum square box under your key lock and cylinder hard to explain , i just took some pics..that plug in the pic kept coming loose so i had to jam it in hard and re-bend those aluminum tabs back

I agree with pcfrisch. I had this happen about ten years ago on a 4cyl 88 fox and it turned out to be the battery cables.
