hey i have a 1988 5.0 that has givin me one problem after the next. The current problem is that when i go to shift, i have to push the pedal all the way to the wall to get it into gear. It's so hard to get it in that usually after a short ride i'll have a sore foot. It's also getting harder and harder to press the clutch pedal in. We replaced the clutch cable and it was good for about a day and now its right back to hard again. My friend thinks its something inside the transmission. He also says i need a pilot bearing and a throughout bearing. Clutch itself doesn't seem to be bad just engaging it. Please help me!!!
