1989 5.0 swap ideas

i have an 89 2.3 mustang i was wondering if the bellhousing would bolt up to a 302, if so what all would i need? i have an old 88 TC engine but its missing alot of parts so i think im going to go with a v8 because it sounds cheaper. everyone says you will blow the tranny but i dont plan on driving crazy i am just looking for the sound and some more lowend torque
