The car is an 89 that was suppose to be converted to 134a but the accumulator is for an r12 system. The system was filled with 2 pounds 4 ounces of 134a and blew nice cold air and now is blowing nothing but hot air from the vents can anyone tell me if this is going to be a problem and if so what parts need to be switched

about a month and a half ago. we replaced the r12 fittings with the proper 134a fittings and charged it up and got some leak check in it so hopefully we will get it worked out

So you converted from R12 to 134A... it was blowing cold and then the cold stopped and it only blows warm now?

Did you use the kit with freon and oil for a 134A conversion. If the oil that was used was only for 134a, it can lock the compressor up. 134a and 12 use different types of oil, but they do make some for the conversion.
