I have a boost gauge in my 93 cobra.I bought the pillar pod and wired it up to the parking light switch. So at night time whenever parking light are on I can see my boost gauge.Only two wired red black power and ground.
Whatever gauges you choose make sure you know the difference between mech/electrical.You dont want fuel coming into the car or anything like that.Pretty simple take your time and should come out nice....good luck

That's about all there is to it, find a good lighting source and mount them. I'm guessing you're getting the full pillar, not just a triple pod? If it was a pod, you just take off the stock pillar and mock up where you'd want the pod, and then drill holes for the wiring to each gauge would go through to be put behind the pillar when you put it back on.

The gauges should come with the wiring they need. They should be fine being run directly to the elements you're wanting to monitor and then a light source.
