I am having major problems with my 1989 GT Mustang. My Mustang is very sluggish and lacks the throttle response that I think that it should have.

I have had the car tuned. The car ran so horrible, I pulled the plugs and the car was running on 6 cylinders. Mechanic cleaned the injector harness, but it seems that cylinder one is still not firing. Right after the tuneup the car responded great, now. I am almost back at square one. The plug in cylinder one showed no wear. The mechanic cleaned the harness and the car ran fast for a week. Now I am back to mediocre power.

Prior to new transmission and tuneup, gas mileage was 23. After it is 19 and that is 100% highway. How hard is it to change the entire injector harness. Is there other solutions.
