I am having a problem with my ignition key switch; I can start the car but to get the signal lights, backup lights and ac blower to come on I have to jiggle the key switch by turning it back just a smidgen. I replaced the ignition key cylinder thing that the spring that kicks the cylinder back to run after the car starts was weak but that did not help the problem at all. I then considered a short at the wiring plug so I replaced that which still did not help. I am fine as long as each time I start the car that I remember to turn the key back slightly. Does anyone have an idea of what has caused this to happen?????

Welcome to the forum. The switch is lower in column. I have read that Ford has or had a recall on the ignition switch. Just not real sure. Call a Ford dealer with the vin # and see. What the hey maybe a phonecall will get it done for free. Maurice
Hey done a internet search look what I found. Time to call this toll free # and see. Let us know how it goes.
