I have a 89 LX with a 91 dash harness and my car was a 5 speed and now switched to C4. I need to know how to eleminate the safety switch on the clutch, I have heard you just have to jumper it off...I have 2 plugs that plugged into my clutch pedel and I think the other one is for the cruise control but not for sure. Can I just jumper both those off and make the car start from the ignition??? I have power to my key but when you turn it completly over to start I have nothing....is there something I need to jumper in the harness running to the trans tunnel?? I noticed the plug going into the trans tunnel has 3 plugs attatched...2 are round and one is kinda square shaped...which one of these if any do I need to do something with??? any help would be appreciated.

The three plugs should be for the VSS, NGS, and Reverse lights.

You can jump both plugs on the Clutch switch. One is the NSS and the other is the SES( starter engage).
