I am working on a old 89 mustang and have run into a problem. The has sat for 7 months and ran when put into storage. The engine crancks and I smell feul so I am thinking electrical. This brought me to the question I am asking there a 30 amp fuse underneath the dash on the right upper side closest to the firewall that keep blowing I don't have the cover and would like to know what that fuse goes to? Any help would be great... Thanks

I had the same problem on my 88 and i just kept putting the new fuse in. I believe it is your illum. fuse. My car went up in smoke driving down the road after awhile. Had to pull out the whole harness and rewired all the wires that were melted. If you pull the dash there are alot of places where the wires crack and wear at behind there. Good luck with tracing the problem just dont blow it off like i did. If you have anymore questions about that just keep posting.
