It struggles to start at first, then its fine. about 20 sec later, the Idle comes down to about 500rpm, and surges. I rev it and it wants to die after the idle comes down.

Its stupid. I don't know if it had anything to do with me installing a new clutch/interlock switch. Although I did notice that when at first I removed it, I tried a jumper wire and jumped both connectors. It struggled to start at first then with the jumper. SO I left it, weeks later (yesterday) I received my OEM switch. It still does the same thing!

It ran FINE before, no problems. All I did was let it sit there for about a month, removed the switch and now this.

Really frustrating......

my 1995 5.0 does the same thing. i have yet to clean the MAF, change the spark plugs, replace the IAC and see if i need to replace the coolant temp sensor. i did adjust the TPS to .98v, but it still does the same thing. i will also change the fuel filter to see if that works.

i'm the new owner of this stang and i have yet to dig into it.
