I was wondering if any of yall have run across anywhere that sells parts for the factory sunroof, the latch mechanism on mine is so worn out it wont even hold it up anymore once you start driving. I was also wondering if anyone has seen a headliner kit out there with the factory sunroof cutout there already. Thanks guys and Happy Holidays. :santa

man i hear ya! my lx has a factory sunroof, the latch holds it up, but when you hit a bump! man that sucker bounces all over the friggin place. scares me too. and my headliner is BEAT. i need a new one as well. there's a store round these parts, Joann Fabrics, they sell foam backed cloth material, fairly similar to oem headliner stuff (even tho mine is currently vinyl). ive done a headline before, in my oldsmobile, but this mustang one looks even easier. im probably going to give it an attempt... if all goes well, itll cost a total of about 30 bucks. if you decide to give it a whirl, alot of people use this spray on adhesive that comes out kinda like spiderwebbing. it works great. but it wears off from heat i found. a nice alternative is any type of brush on contact cement.

Cool thanks for the reply brotha, let me know how it goes. I might just take it to an upholstery place to do the headliner, but that still doesnt fix the sunroof.
