Rebuilt t-5 on my new 306 with a brand new ram clutch. When the car is off i can put the car in gear wiht no problem. If the car is running i can't put it in gear, and if i try to start the car in gear it just jolts forward and won't start. I have no idea what is going on. Any information would be great.

the air gap is adjusted by shims on the crank, and allows the clutch to slip. You may need a steeda adjustable clutch cable

i would watch the clutch fork and see how much movement there is.it sounds like it is not moving enough.

from what i've read it sounds like its gotta not be disengaging all the way, now i have the steeda clutch cable kit and on that quadrant it has a hook for the firewall adjuster and a hook for without the firewall adjuster
