i have a 1990 ford mustang lx and swapped out the origanal 302 engine with a 1995 ford f150 roller camshaft 351w. I have tried many distributors and cannot get the car to idle right. When at idle it will either die or start to jump bad. Im not sure what distributor to use with the factory roller cam. i have tried a points setup, and then bought a procomp 351w street distributor from summit and still nothing will work. it says to use a bronze gear but for a factory roller camshaft, i thought i had to use a steel gear.when i used the bronze gear in the points distributor, it shaved the gear lips down.If anyone knows please help me, thanks

Why not go to the parts store and ask for a distributor for a 95 F150 351w? If that is the vehicle it came out of they should be able to get you a stock replacement. If that doesn't work maybe you have other problems.
