Hello everyone. I'm familiar with these forums, been around a few years. I mainly played in the 2.3 section, but now I've pulled up the big boy britches and bought a 5.0. The car is a Vermillion 1991 5.0 AOD LX Hatchback. 92,xxx miles. Absolutely pristine body and black interior. Garage kept its entire life, always a coat of wax on it. I'm the fourth owner, The second to have it in driving condition, soon. The previous owner is actually our friend/neighbor across the street so I was able to get quite the deal. Apparently this car was heavily track driven. The body is straight as an arrow. The doors sit nicely, roof is perfect, floor pans are perfect, from what I can see below. The torque boxes are perfect. There is no indication of body stress or fatigue. The only way to tell it was raced would be the Saleen suspension components, and the AOD. The transmission was built by Transmission Specialties. I'm unsure of the valve body or other internals but I do know that it was balanced and blueprinted. It also has a Stallion converter 9" I think, I'm unsure of the stall on it. In order for the car to be road worthy I need to put together an engine. I'm producing another tread for it specifically. I just wanted to say hi and get the word out. Another thing, this has taken years of saving, pinching pennies, and working. I'm proud to say that this is MY car. With the help of this forum I plan on building one hell of a street machine that'll embarrass the next Asian, American, or Euro that pulls next to me at the stoplight or tree. Thank you.

This wears on me. Permit me the honor to explain. This thread is located in the "Talk" section. I'm talking about how I got a hold of the car. I'm not asking any technical questions. The other thread is located in the "Tech" section. There, I'm asking about building an engine. These aren't duplicate.
