Thinking about buying a 1991 GT Convertible with 61,000 original miles. My uncle is asking 7000 for it. I feel that might be a little high. It is in excellent condition and he has repainted the whole car, put a new leather convertible top on, had custom leather seats put in, flowmaster exhaust, new clutch, and front rear brakes. Does all this work justify this price?

I'm not much of a techie, but it seems that your Uncle is trying to get back money for the parts and labor he has put into the Vehicle.

Even if the Vehicle is in great condition, I wouldn't pay that much for the vehicle. The only way I would is if it were a rare/limited edition/or special edition mustang that is more of a Collector's Piece than a Toy.

Shouldn't you get a family discount, or something?
