If I am driving my 1991 Mustang (2.3, 5 speed) at over 3,000 rpm for more than 10 seconds it starts smoking out the tail pipe very badly and gradually subsides after a short distance if the rpm are brought down bellow 3,000 rpm. ofcoarse leaving an very embarracing cloud of smoke behind me. I am sure it is oil smoke but am unable to determine how come it is doing this. I have no external oil leaks & it doesn't smoke when it is started up or any other time, but am finding it to be low on oil quite often.
This is my first time posting on this web site and wondering if any one else has encountered any thing like this and/or can point me in the right dirrection.
